An Island Get Away!

A Note from the Bride and the Groom:

We encourage all Vancouver-based and out-of-town guests book accommodation on Bowen Island well in advance for the wedding in order to fully enjoy the festivities of the weekend hassle-free. We've chosen a few vacation rentals for guest consideration below, have camping options on-site, and also encourage large groups to consider the Bowen Island Lodge.

Depending on COVID restrictions in June, we will have a Bowen Island shuttle pick guests up prior to the wedding ceremony, and return them to their vacation rentals when the band packs up later in the evening so that everyone can plan on getting a safe ride home.

As the wedding is on an island, ferry schedules can be fussy, however shuttles will meet ferries later in the evening for those choosing to return to the mainland (if you insist on missing Keenan's dance moves!), as well as a late night water taxi around 12:30am for the party animals who want to return to their own beds.

Keenan and Heather would love to welcome the more adventurous guests to reserve canvas bell tents through “Wild Havens” or to pitch their own tents and camp on-site in a secluded section of the Beaty family property. Limited bathroom facilities are available however, and it is a "leave no trace" style camp-out of course.

Looking forward to having you join us in June!
